Windows into Dutch paintings of people working their craft! Acrylic on 8" x 10" gallery canvas, framed by a layer of clear gloss,...experimental in nature!
Where's the little Dutch boy making paint, Mark? Maybe you should make a contemporary version of this? Unfortunately, there seems to be fewer and fewer skilled crafts being handed down. Everything is devolving to milking and bilking the Internet. This has a nice old world printing press feel to it with nice subtle use of color. :)
Artist Reply: Thanks so very much for complimenting this piece. I will put the little Dutch Boy in my next journeyman's history of commerce art piece. Best regards my friend! :)
Artist Reply: You're absolutely amazing! I read your profile,...and wow! Thank you for your wonderful compliments and support as a colleague! My neighbor is a fantastic fabric artist, Stepanie Robertson, Chairman of the Art Department at Ivy Tech here in Indy!
