This is inspired by an old dead tree here, at home. Apart from a few branches, only its trunk remains, so that it looks like a massive column of wood. Throughout the years, it has become so covered in vines that you don't see the tree anymore, only leaves.

...from the right angle, it looks like a Troll slowly coming out of the ground.
