I like all the colors in this painting. The tree leads your eye into the painting. It looks like steam is rising from the water along the bay. I like the line work on the land. I like when an artist can really look at the colors behind the image, you have done this wonderfully. The only thing I would change is the white building on the right in the distance? It is distracting and competes with the tree. I would also fade out the wash as you go out into the distance. The dark line of the horizon on the left is also distracting. If the horizon was not directly in the middle of the painting and it faded into the distance it would make the tree & land more vibrant & more of a focal point. Other than that you did such a wonderful job w/ this.
