Hey, I thought it might be cathartic to come by for a visit and lay down some words. Well some of you may have noticed that I have been coming by for a very long, long, long time. Would you believe me if I told you that a million things have changed since then.....some of it not great the good bits is that I have moved into my own place. And it’s a killer decorating it let me tell you. I love colour just not when I have to pick it for something more than dresses. My hub was bought by my beautiful father to help me in my new career change to become a teacher (which I now am). Then sadly just after passing my teaching degree my father lost his battle with cancer in on Nov 8th 2009 life has been a little up and down since then. I really haven't felt able to do anything creative for a while as I have been feeling 100% myself. I guess it will all slowly come back to something close to normal. I did create my first canvas in two years a few months ago....so it’s coming back to me slowly. I will work on adding a new piece soon.x

Ahhh it's so nice not to have to go to work this week. So today is all about more relaxing.

It's my sisters 27th birthday to day. I can't believe it - she is all grown up. I can still remember all the stuff we use to do when she was little and we didn't have all the grown up stuff to think about..... how I miss those days! I feel the need to go out and get her another present. isn't it sad that the older you get the less presents you receive. I think it should be the other way round! It's another possible down side to getting older. Wow does that read as shallow is as it sounds to me? I really don't mean it to sound like that.

I had hoped that next month I would be starting school, unfortunately my exams didn't go as well as I had hoped. So it's back to the drawing board. I really need a holiday to reset my button.

Well that all for now. So I think it's time to stop writing, go get some breakfast and come back and do some more illustrations.
