Within the past eight years, Higgins' paintings have been juried into sixty major national shows and twelve museum exhibitions in thirty-two states. His work has received eleven prestigious awards, been featured in several shows (two in NYC) and is in public and private collections in fifteen states. Higgins, who studied at Boston's Emerson College, Museum of Fine Arts, and the Motion Picture School, Fort Monmouth, NJ. has been painting, primarily in pastels, for twenty-five years. He is listed in Who's Who in American Art and Who's Who in America. His work has been reviewed in several major Sunday newspapers and "featured artist" sections.
