I always felt protected from the world and walked trough life without fear, because I knew I am loved. I have most amazing mother with whom I share unbreakable bond, so when I saw this photograph by amazing Nick Brandt, I had to paint it for her. She loves elephant, and funny enough, her devotion, protection and strength is very much like one of mother elephant. This painting represents that shelter I carry with me forever in my heart.
