I listen to the whispering cane,
felt my destiny at that very first time.
Indeed I knew my stream had to go on,
so I said to the cane here “Goodbye”
When I bended around, the riverbed
and I found myself totally lost,
I knew to become a part of the river,
it wouldn’t be easy and cost.
At a stone on the banks,
where I bounced to the right,
I went in as a stream to the river.
It happened so fast, so I couldn’t get hold,
I was smashed in that hard, that I shivered.
But then I remembered what I wanted to do
and from the cane that I’ve past on my way.
My river will open its tide now to me,
where I in oceans, a lifetime will stay.

When some rivers flows around a curve, the fastest water is on the outside of the bend; erosion is more rapid there. Over time this "sideways" erosion causes the meander of the river to grow wider and wider. Eventually the curve becomes a loop that the river breaks through. ---THAT'S I THINK what you meant with YOUR "GROWTH"!! ------- Mooie subtiele woordspeling met de natuur Ben! ~Love & Light, OLGAPeter Rivron 12 Apr 2011
