Thanks for the comment on my bananas! Your work is amazing! I also work in colored pencil, but have never tried the film.

Artist Reply: Ann: thank you so much for such a generous comment on my work. It is much appreciated. The Dura-lar matte surfaced polyester film is wonderful to work on with colored pencils. Because of the detail work that I enjoy doing, the film allows for such a smooth finished surface. It doesn't hold nearly as many layers of color as does paper, but the advantage is that you can add color to both sides of the film. You definitely should try some. I purchase it through Dick Blick art supplies. Have a good day. Best regards, Will

I appreciate your kind comment. I work from photographs that my wife takes and transform them into the colored pencil paintings that you see in my portfolio. It takes a bit of time, but I love doing detail and I love colors. It's quite relaxing actually.
