Kolibrie Butterfly

Almost 60 years in my live I had never seen such pretty butterfly,
although it should be around each year.
I tried to capture it at the flowers in my garden
where it showed to have a long tongue to get to the nectar, but I failed.
It was so quick that I could not focus it sharp.
A few days later I found it inside my hall against the window.
The red dots on aswell the head and body made it even more fascinating.
Also the orange parts of the wings colored bright to this "Macroglossum stellatarum"
After shooting my pictures I tried to get it on a little piece of bamboo stick, where it klimbed on,
so I could set it free in nature where it belongs. Amazing was the turbo flight in which it went away.

It's Uplifting. So close to life

Artist Reply: I was able to let it set itself on a stick. This way I could give this precious butterfly its live outside again. And yes John we're not only near but all so close to nature...

Outstanding capture, Ben !!! Like birds, insects are always in motion, but it is such a pleasure to fix one moment of their beauty !!!!!!!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Marie-Claire. Although it looks I am quiet on the background it has been a busy time. To that the enormous heat inside...
