This is an image of a self-intersecting möbius strip. It is a ribbon with holes that wraps within itself an infinite number of times. The ribbon holes are aligned in such a way that the ribbon facing in one direction never comes in contact with the self-intersecting ribbon facing the other direction. ©2012 David M. Voutsinas
