Annabelle's head

Annabelle's Head began as a study fr the full length portrait I did of her but it has now been exhibited on it's own several times and even went abroad to be in the Brewhouse Exhibit in the UK. so she has been seen by Prince Edward.

This is wonderful. Nice skin tones. You seem to be capturing her feelings very well.

Beautiful study! I LOVE being able to see the 'working through' process. Isn't it funny how sometimes the 'studies' can stand on their own? I'm glad you posted this---many times the 'work overs' are just simply buried since they're not the 'real' piece---and they do tend to show so much about the artist's thought process. :) -Kerra

Beautifully done. I'm so sorry you are having a bad year. I hope that this little angel continues to brighten your days. The detail you put into this 'study' is fantastic. I just love the skin tones. That little nose, the hair, and those eyes. Remarkable.

Great portrait in watercolor.blending is fantastic

Artist Reply: Thanks Billy the bodycolor I used as touchups in the hair and in the eyes to pop the white areas also did double duty as a very thin tinted wash on the facial areas to smooth the surface of the under washes.
