Instant thoughts of Ernest Shackleton and the Endurance voyage. I actually expected that to be the title. Are you familiar with the account? It should be fiction, but it's not. Great work. pbs.org/wgbh/nova/shackleton/

Nice! But when I saw this image I knew I had seen the concept before; Professional 3D and Matte artist Raphael Lacoste created 'Wreck of Esperance' about a year ago... It is by far not the same as your work but again the concept comes close. Take a look at (www)raphael-lacoste(dotcom) to see what I mean :)

Artist Reply: Fantastic work from someone i have never heard of..and it does'nt even come close, how you get the comparison is beyond me, if you do want to compair with other works here is another i found the other day now this is spookingly close the the same concept.. http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/galleries/0/-/?id=28266&sec=3 and i could also point you to another here on artwanted.. but i still don't get your point.. regards (M)

*Your creation here very much expresses its title and behind that the picture, which seems to also grow around it as well, but of course in a still form. Very rich in depth, color and compositional rendering. Good short story form to match the exact work Michael! Cool work!
