Fountain in a Storm is acrylic on heavy paper 15"x20" The carousel glow in neon flashes against the wet weathered wood planks and rain dashed through a door circled with white balls of light. The child paused and started to run. Then the wind blew a band of stars across a painted horse which sprouted wings, sang a silly song and dance off of the pier into the sun that was still behind a blue cloud even though the child could not see it. The music began and the child ran to reach the merry-go-rouind before the storm blew it away. And another horse jumped up and down and smiled a wooden smile and clapped its hooves in time to the song and ignored the storm outside.
