*Such a beautiful site as well as a saver of life. Those that would come too close to the shore of deadly rocks where the fragile ships would certainly be doomed...there it is, that beacon of light that illuminates the night and therefore shows the Captains, where not to go and where to stop...especially for example if a thick fog that accompanies the early morning mist is on the water, or when a fierce storm has blown a vessel off course, that sight of light from the lighthouse is a savior of life and a sight for sore eyes that were hoping for a place to stop. ....as usual, just my thoughts. ....John Michael Piper *GO CHECK OUT THE NEW REDESIGNED WEBSITE AT ARTIMATIONSDESIGNCOMP.COM* *At: http://www.artimationsdesigncomp.com/ ***Check it out, don't check it out.....but check it out~ John Michael Piper©2011, All Rights Reserved

I have always been fascinated by and loved lighthouses, and living in Maine for years, saw very fine ones plus just a short car ride to the sea,it gets in your blood,I miss it so as here it is 70 miles to the ocean, and when you do get there is all parking meters or permits to step on the beach and so many people on the road and on the beach that I find it is not worth going any more.this is outstanding work Johnny, the blues are very calming and the darkness lends a sense of mystery, such a pleasure to see your works, infrequent but special gifts for the viewer.Emily Reed 12 Feb 2011
