This is a colored pencil painting that I did based on a photo that I took with my phone camera. We were visiting Ojai, California to visit family and we went into a garden shop there. In the back part of the shop, I saw an old broom leaning up against the wall, an old table, and a pile of leaves. I set it up as the scene shown in this painting. I entitled it "Clean Sweep" for the success my 12 year old grand daughter had with her art entries this year's Ventura County fair. The painting is done with Prismacolor Verithin pencils and measures 9 inches X 13 inches. It's a simple scene, but it does carry personal significance for me. I hope that you find it pleasing.
