Diptychs are such nice forms.
This duo has a subtle and playful
mixture of texture and color.
There's warmth and richness of the
colors and a delicate balance of textures.
Although the work is small, it gives a
monumental landscape feel.

Doesn't need a
frame.
Mixed media used:
caparol binder (resin binder glue),
soft wood shavings (excelsior), crushed
egg
shells,
silk, cheese cloth.
All worked in
with
different mediums (Liquitex, Golden
only) to conserve the
pieces.
