MTV Gothic is an illustration I created while in art school. The assignment was to take a famous serious painting and add humor to it. This was done in the early 90's when Madonna and MTV were very popular. The young lady dressed like Madonna is supposed to dramatically contrast a very conservative mid-western couple.
