This is a landscape piece from a friend’s house of mine in Marion, North Carolina. It’s on a little lake called Lake Tahoma. It’s a pleasure going up there and doing a little cycling and being semi- adventurous. It’s a really chill and laid back place. The house is absolutely beautiful; I wanted to capture the beauty of the house and how it sits in with the land not against it. The house really feels like an extension and is part of the lake. I really love the colors there with the red bush, which I believe is a Japanese Maple, and the different kinds of flower boxes and life all around the house. There are tons of wildlife around as well, like birds and bees and butterflies. It’s just really a beautiful place and hope that I captured it accurately.
