Present for my mother's birthday. Acrylic paints for colour, with shaped and cut paper for texture in the leaves and petals. Stems and flower centres were made with stained string and beads. Extra detail on the flower centre was done by using beds and wire to enhance the 3D effect. First attempt at anything using this sort of mixed media. Very happy with the result. May add this to my list of possible commission types in the future.
