The major “Religion” in Mongolia is Buddhism. They also have representations of most other religions there and even though the Russians try to eliminate the head lamas during the hard times there, they endured. There are still many temples in Mongolia and you can run into many monks there. Shamanism can also still be seen in Mongolia and I’ve witnessed that as well, but that’s another story.
