My friend and colleague asked me to produce this painting from a small photograph .Produced in pastel on glass paper I enjoy the contrast between the rich brown background and the effect of reflected light on the dog's white fur.I am particularly happy with the expression on the Charlie's face part surprise,part curiosity.
