Girl With the Pearl Earring 2

This is a copy of a copy. The movie "The Girl With the Pearl Earring" is based on the semi-fictional book based on the painting by the famous Dutch master Vermeer. Scarlett Johanssen plays Vermeer's muse and subject of one of his famous works. I was struck by the similarity between the actual painting and the photograph of Scarlett playing the part. I thought what better to do than paint it?
