is there a way to get the old numbers so that we can compare apples to apples when comparing months' traffic?

We are not quite sure what you mean by "old numbers". None of your statistics have been deleted or changed, so what you see are the "old numbers". We are now filtering out search engine bots from portfoio hits, but again, we didn't go back and change any of the numbers in the past.

i guess i didn't make myself clear enough....each of my months varies alot in numbers...in trying to assess what was bots and what is 'real' hits, i'd have to have both numbers...the old number of hits with bots, and the new number with them removed. is there anyway that an artist could have the option of keeping the bots or not? in discussing this with others, it seems that some really want to keep the inflated number, though not real, to impress potential clients that may be looking as well as to keep newbies on the site from feeling too rejected with few hits.... just a thought. i have no idea if it is feasible or not.

We are sorry, we don't have a way of showing which hits were from bots and real people for any of the statistics in the past, because everything was lumped together into one number.
