•I became a born-again Christian in 1975 in Orange county when freeway driving odor was dominated by the scent of orange trees. Yet I must confess that 2006 is when I allowed myself to take the Bible literally beginning with the very first verse, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth". I knew the gospel message as a child, that Jesus came into the world to save man from sin and that faith in His message was the only way to eternal life through God's eyes. But personal attention began with the line in a song.. "Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, who are you what have you sacrificed". The rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar is blasphemous to some but as a young drummer I liked its style. Years later, God would love me through The Holy Spirit and some special people as I crossed the bridge. Illustrations are doodles from Bible incidents that capture my awe, with some graphic opinions of societal direction depicting people enjoyable to draw. Another graphic contemplation was how to draw the fig tree parable (below) but such meanings are out of reach if proper understanding is the reason for a doodle. "Now learn the parable of the fig tree, when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know the summer is near" (Matthew 24:22) The artwork I see on this site is rich in creative thought I find amazing, and it prompts lazyness into activity. I am still at the beginning of a learning curve when it comes to things that involve internet communities but that will change beginning with this incomplete bio and a quick vector sketch from my DMV mug shot.
