I am a graphic artist for a major newspaper and a fine arts artist by the grace of God.
I am married, have two sons, and currently live in the southern end of the central valley of California. Having moved out here for a year, over 13 years ago, I actually gave up drawing all together for 6 years once I was hired as an illustrator for a furniture store. Hence, how I got into graphic design.
My goal is to open my own gallery/shop someday before I am too old to forget how or even why to draw!
Check out my work at www.paper2pencil.com where you read a brief bio as well as see an expanded collection of my pencil drawings.
I am self taught as a graphic artist, with over 13 years experience, and have won several awards from the California Newspaper Associate throughout the years for some of the ads I have created.
A book on how I draw is now available at www.lulu.com
pencil drawings -A rare and often over looked art form in today’s art scene - This collection of masterfully crafted graphite pencil drawings shows the step-by-step process it takes to complete each drawing, as well as read the artist’s thoughts and views in this ‘journal-style’ book on how he draws*.
