Shannon, This is a very lovely picture, with a perfect composition. As I mentioned, I have always liked going there. Love the fences and the surround area in this great image.
Artist Reply: I really appreciate all your wonderful comments, Anne! I must have visited Mabry Mill thousands of times, as our place is just two or three miles away. I probably have photographed the mill a thousand or more times during every season and at it different times of the day. I cannot wait to be there again! It won't be long now!

Shannon, This is another view of Mabry Mill. I love the whole scene with the fences and walkway showing, as well as lovely surroundings (Glad you have the best of both worlds. I live close to the beach (relatively speaking). I enjoy where we live in the small town of Smithfield, very picturesque small town, with lots of cultural and historical places to go. Happy Easter.
Artist Reply: Thank you so much, Anne, for so many wonderful compliments! I truly appreciate ALL of them! I do have the best of both world; the beach and the mountains! We are truly blessed! I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Easter!
Artist Reply: Thank you, Jill, for taking the time to comment on my photo! I really appreciate it a lot! It is even more beautiful in person and so very serene!
Artist Reply: Thank you so much for commenting on my photo! I really appreciate it a lot! I love this place! We get to visit it three weeks out of the year. I am lucky to live near the ocean, yet... be able to go to the Blue Ridge Mountains every year! I guess I really do have the best of both worlds!
