"Mother and Daughter" is a painting of my dear and precious best friend in Florida, Christina and her beautiful daughter Isabella. I wanted to show the protection of mothers over their daughters when facing the rough waters of life. In that protection there is a warm and loving light that emanates from the figures. Beyond the turbulent waters and over the horizon is a golden sunset holding the promise of safe and happy days ahead.

Touching. I hear her sage voice answer he daughter’s eternal question of “Who will I become?”. “Resist distraction. Don’t sell out to merely fun and games. Find your purpose in life.
