11x14 scratchboard rendering from a photo my father took during his tour of duty in the Pacific, WWII. It was a black and white photo of a moonlit night on a lagoon, so it was a perfect reference for this drawing. This is one of the first scratchboards I ever did. very well done. scratch board isn't that easy and I had no idea you could obtain this kind of shading.
