This geometric pattern was made first by sketching out the idea and then using tape to paint in the sections. The painting for me is like a jewel and the various facets you see depending on the angle from which you are viewing it. For me this is true about many opinions and beliefs. People may interpret the same thing in a completely different manner, but seen as a whole the fundamental concept or object does not change. The opinon or belief simply depends on how you are viewing it and this changes over time as you change.

Lovely work Laura, these colors are so fun and such a great textural feel to this!

Artist Reply: Thanks so.much Vicki! I actually mixed the colors with gold acrylic so they are kind of double painted! LOL I have ceramic tiles from.my crafts that look sort of like jewels and gold metal foil so I might be adding more to it...I tend to go over the top so not sure! But I do love different levels and textures!:)
Artist Reply: Thanks so much Vicki for favoriting my painting! So kind of you! :):) I appreciate your awesome support!

Super nice Laura , I like that it has both symmetry and is incongruous as well : )

Artist Reply: Thanks Dave. Yes. Some things are bigger and some smaller. It is not perfect as far as symmetry! It was unusual for me to map things out at all, but I enjoy experimenting! Thanks so much for your kind comments and support!:)
