Nice Job Misty! Looks like you are building a really nice portfolio of portrait style work. I think your work could benefit by pushing your edges more; creating more definition. And don't be afraid to stray away from an ultra smooth look; sometimes realism can be achieved by using building blocks first and then smooth them over after the right lighting has been laid out.
Artist Reply: Thank you! I always enjoy detailed comments such as yours that tell me exactly how to improve. I always hope that someone will see what I miss. Thank you for taking the time and for the suggestions. As far as straying from the ultra smooth, should I change paint? All I use are oils now?
