It was a beautiful morning in the North Alps of Japan. I was hiking around to the peak of Mt. Tsubakuro looking for the light of the sunrise on the rocks when I stumbled across this scene. Still in the shade, the green grass blades and pine needles reflected the blue light of the sky. Minolta 801si alpha, 50mm lens, Fujichrome Velvia, no filter, no colour manipulation.
