Artist Reply: Well, Loredana, it is ACTUALLY a fungus that I found amongst a whole slew of fungii that grace the outer car park of the mediaeval Norton Priory in Cheshire in England where my wife, her sister and I made a visit yesterday on a glorious sunny autumn afternoon.
