This is a large 30 x 40 oil on canvas. I painted in three trees in the background & when finished I learned of an old folk tale book called The Three Trees. It fit once I read the tale I realized how fitting it was to the painting. This brought the title to what it is. I hope you enjoy this painting as much as I enjoyed painting it.
