Oh! so cute love this pose and the colors are very well done...he looks very content and playful. My cat, Einstein, does this belly-up position in the summer when he's hot. I call it cheap AC...lol!

My female red and white Irish Setter Molly is like Gumby and twists her body in positions gymnasts could never master. I wish I could give Homie a long Belly rub;what a loving dog. One of the reasons dogs will assume this position if they want to communicate that they are not an alpha dog, but submissive in the pack. They have their own language. I hope you do more dog portraits, especially greyhounds to communicate what a wonderful and sensitive breed they are. Finally they closed the racing track in San Diego in Southern California after many protests. Animal abuse should carry stiff fines. They are so vulnerable and all the want to do is love us with no strings attached. Another touching portrait with those amazing soulful eyes.
