Blue Misty Landscape by Trine Meyer Vogsland Oil on preprimed artist canvas panel 18x24cm I sell woldwide Visit my blog http://mtv65.blogspot.com for more of my works. This is another of my relaxing or near meditative blue landscapes. Even though I try to work in many different techniques, media and colours, I tend to always get back to the monochrome blue landscapes of mine. I usually work "alla prima" with these small oil landscapes of mine, meaning they are usually done in one setting or finished the same day. While working on works like this I tend to lose track of time and nearly go into a meditative transe myself and before I know it I have had lots of messages from my kids and my food is dried out waiting for me and things like that. I do hope some of that "forget all worries" mood has been included into the painting.

I love the mysteriousness of your painting. It's almost eerie with the mist slowing creeping up on the trees.Tom and Susan Repasky 21 Feb 2007
LOL, Trine, I know exactly what you mean when you say you get so caught up in the moment of art that you lose all track of time!! I am glad for it though, as I would not be gazing upon this awesome work of art before me!! I love the mystical qualities that shine through, as the mist rises through the trees and the mountains aura glows!! The visual pleasure that the colors bring to me is wonderful!! Excellent job on this stunning piece!! ~SLucia Stewart 15 Feb 2007
