steve, just a comment on your reply topatrick boyle; yes your right. the left arm IS shorter but if someone questions it you tell them it was foreshortened becuse it was bent and NOT a mistake on your part. that's your story and you should stick to it.

Artist Reply: Thanks Patrick- i might be more inclined to agree with your judgement if not for the fact his right arm is noticeably longer than his left! I painted this back in 1995, and back then i didnt tend to step back and assess my work, at least not before it was too late!
