this is the first official illustration from my novel-in-progress. i call it a novel because it's now at 56,000+ words: novel length. anyhow, the scene goes like this: "He took a long drag on his cigarette; the clock tower rang once, twice. It was far too light for it to be 2AM, but the fire in the sky illuminated everything with a sad, grey light. There were almost no shadows to speak of; everything seemed enveloped in a grey that seemed to sing of doom. Deth sighed again; he couldn't sit outside forever. Eventually, he would starve to death. Knowing this, he weighed his options. There wasn't much of a decision; it was die or die. He decided to be pro-active and die. As he got up from the concrete, his knees protested with creaks and groans. Deth sighed once more, and opened the door to his home." i hope that you like it, and if you want to read more of my novel....contact me :)
