Hare Stands On End

A frazzled hare/rabbit tries to be inconspicuous, standing statue-like in the reeds, as it's nemesis noses about near by. Who will win this eternal game? - I love illustrating a play on words...just goofy, I guess. :) Original: 10"x12.75"

Great title, Amy! You should have made the reeds covered with snow. Nice job on the detail.

Artist Reply: Glad you like it, Dan! The thought crossed my mind about more snow, but didn't want to disrupt the eye's transit around the picture by breaking up the silhouettes of the reeds.... Thanks for taking a look! :)

I love how the fox's front paw is undecided... it could go toward the rabbit or walk on by. What will it do? The suspense is killing me! Run rabbit, RUN!

Artist Reply: Now ya know what I went through! Oh the angst and trepidation!!! LOL Thanks for checking out the pic though, Gerald...and glad you liked it! :)
