OMG you have done a grand job on this powerful bird of pray. I to love Eagles and you did this one proud. The eagle eye look as he searches for it pray and the water against the cliffs, just fantistic job done here
An interesting treatment of the sky nearest the eagle, Annette. I get the sense of a rather 'dry' technique here. The moon is so deliciously warm. The cliffs are reminiscent of the White Cliffs of Dover, at least to me. I find it interesting that you chose to zoom in on the moon and sky rather than the hunter. Rather telling. :)
Imaginatively atmospheric; terrific amount of movement in both sea and sky, and the ballanced 'hanging' of the sea eagle is a wonderful counterpoint. :)

Has a kind of mythical aspect to it. The eagle flying over the rocks reminds of that of the eagle flying over the craters and emblazoned on dollar coins produced to symbolize the moon landing. The overhanging clifs and its niches has almost a chisleled look as if man made or something ancient, while the planet in the background, I would like to say is the moon but the hint of blue suggests a ravaged earth in some distant (I hope!) future s that we should strive to avoid today.
