Photo taken inside the 'Welsh Slate Museum', Llanberis,North Wales. This was taken in the old workshop, where over a 100 years ago they made castings for the railway truck wheels and gears that took the slate to the local depot. These are the original wooden templates that were used as the basis for the Iron wheels which were cast.Interesting stuff really.I love History. Wonderful, David! Great thinkers of the past. History teaches us more than we realize, I think. I love history as well, and working in the history department of my college makes me keep coming back to work! Lol!Joanna Jungjohann 17 Aug 2007
