cm 23x27, oil on glass, painted in 1986, when my daughter was 4 years old, to recall the tradition of St. Nicholas, coming in the night of December 5th to bring presents to children. I thought the Bishop from Bari would have a rest and stop at a confectioners' shop windows. Seated in the curtain, the Saint would have a chat with Hansel and Gretel, the Cat with the Boots, Father Cristmases in chocolate copies... I dedicate it this time to the fairy-tales writer Angelo Signorelli in the first anniversary of his last journey.
