Artist Reply: I have noticed that a lot of the self portraits I do do not look like me, I think it is more like how I think I look. Or a self image I have of myself. So your right it is the essence. We all live behind a veil of deceit, a facade wherin we are all imposters. This is why we must look deeper into our own selves to remember who we really are so we can just stop lying to each other and ourselves.
