Artist Reply: thanks Annette..yes that is so true, the glass does give one a smooth surface, and sometimes a sharp edge or two that creates little red drops AND THAT ATTRACTS THE SPIDERS..OOUCH!..LOL.. THANKS AGAIN!

In the abyss there is darkness - the trick is keeping all the liquids inside the artist during the ride - Ha! - thank God the sun is shining around these parts for a time - Good start Elton, but don't you think the doll's cheeks should be a bit redder? ~:0)

Artist Reply: Yep..nor I girl..I just draw it, don't wanna' be one..I shows em' but don't really wanna' knows em'...I sees' and I believes' 'hell is real..and you knows it when ya' feel --the hot air blowing up your backside in those dreams where the things, that are after you. are so real . you don't want to - go there ever again, even in a dream world where mortals come apart at the seams at hell's portals where- our nightmares are too real to be merely dreams..

This is a rather friendly abyss. You use the dark lines to outline the soft edges of the forms. Everything is movement and agitation, with hints of reality in the abstraction.

Artist Reply: You are really a skilled surgeon at dissecting imagery and form...yes the abyss is at the top of the picture..see the animalistic and humanistic forms there ..and the shark like creatures at the bottom =AND OTHER FORMS ABOUT ALSO....the abyss is in essence LIKE A a black hole..sucking in all as they swirl about the epicenter of this disastrous EDDIE...The painting reveals the epicenter peering out from under the glass, as the painting is done on both reverse and front sides of the pane...thus the abyss appears (upon closer scrutiny) as a distinct 3-D object in reverse depths... COULD THIS BE HELL? COULD THIS BE THE ID? Could this be the fracture of society and the downward spiral of civilization?.You pay your quarter and see the side show,, and you decide are the freaks here real or only a shadow image to ensnare and lure one into the web of mendacity??? Ho ho ho.. One path may lead to heaven and one path may lead to hell..The question you gotta' ask yourself is did I fire off six possibilities or in the excitement , only use five..is the chamber empty or is there still a live one left..one path or none?..what are you going to choose?. Well. do you feel lucky sport.???? Delete?
