My story happened on the last day of Hannukah twenty one years ago. I was very creative and I built a Hannukah Lamp from my son's Hadar plastic bricks. We lit 9 candles, sang the songs, ate the traditional food and left the room with the Hannukah Lamp burning. All of a sudden, I saw little Hadar very excited shouting "Esh! Esh! (fire, in Hebrew). He took me by the hand, leading me to see the Hannukah Lamp on fire. I extinguished the fire, and he was so proud that he saved the whole house from a fire. Last night we lit the first candle of Hannukah. This time we used our silver Hannukah Lamp. By the way, I still keep some burnt bricks as a souvenir of that Hannukah night. I wish all those who celebrate a most happy and joyful Hanukkah!
