Jean M. Laffitau:
"You captured the beauty of a female body so
perfectly!!
I’ve always said, a woman is
the most wonderful sort of music that
exist!
I'm busy prepping my solo show
"GEMS"
on February 8-14, 2010
at the Academy of Lifelong Learning
(University of DE) where I teach.
It will be a show with all my little treasures.
That's why I came up
with the theme "Gems".
This small collage
painting is one of a diptych
about "Female Transformation."
I love the warm color of burnt sienna in
combination with Crimson Lake.
(Strongly Kandinsky
inspired.)
I read somewhere:
"...Words cannot fully convey the power and
majesty of such an experience,
but your
body
will know.
This sacred womb work,
gentle, yet life-changing,
is a catalyst for
global feminine transformation."
