I can definitely see a resemblance! Creating a likeness is one of the hardest things to get right with artwork, in many respects. Takes a lot of fine tuning. But you've done well here, the only thing off is her eyes - which look kind of more like they go along with the rest of your comic-book-ish style. It's unique and different. Nicely done :)

Artist Reply: HAHAHA! You think so too huh... Well most of the other artist says so. Actually I come to notice that it after the work is finished and theres no way to make the correction. Plus the fact that it is my 1st time to do charcoal portraits, and since I have no idea on how to do charcoals... it's kinda based on my theory and imagination. That is why I posted this piece here for artist to see and Criticize my works. For that is the only way i'll know what to improve and how to improve... Well I think i've talk too much, it time to part for awhile but you'll still hear from me... That is of course if you still want to hear from me, wish you do! May the Lord our God let His face shine upon you & bless you through it all... Also remember that Christ Jesus Loves you so whatever your in to right now He'll be there for you!

the best are the beads.yes ur right she does not look like her but u have drawn beautifully.maybe eyes could have been a small.shape of the list also make her different and little less chubby.but if ur looking at ur drawing only its great work.....meena

I REALLY LIKED THE BEADS. BUT THERES JUST SOMETHING ABOUT TH EEYES GODD USE OF SHADING AS WELL, BUT TRY TO BLEND THE HARD LINES IN HER FACE A LITTLE MORE
