It was worth the redo. Another of our artists pointed out a serious flaw in the previous render. It's a 27th wedding anniversary gift to her husband, so that made it worth it to me.

Excellent portrayal--and such a wonderful gift. I, too, have been corrected by others on here--and what a help! I was so thankful for their critiques--my paintings have improved! I think the best thing about AW is the fact that we can get insight from other peers. I'm sure she was thrilled with this final piece! -Kerra

Artist Reply: Kerra, I am happy when something I overlooked or didn't draw right is brought to my attention. This one, however was critiqued incorrectly. There was nothing wrong with the first, but I told myself I saw the flaw. The person who commissioned it liked the first one a lot better, so I wound up giving her one, plus the one I drew that she paid me for. I've learned that not everyone at AW is a good critic.

I thought the original was great and now this one is even greater so guess your AW artist friend knew what they were talking about although I couldn't pick the 'flaw' out! Wonderful work, Carliss!

Artist Reply: Thank you Ginger! That is so kind of you to say so! I keep trying.
