We've all heard that only the strong survive. But what does that mean, really? Is it genetic predisposition with a great immune system? Is it physical strength against almost equally strong opposition? In my experience, it's about tenacity as much as strength. I call it stubbornness. The unwillingness to surrender, to give up.
