There is absolutely no doubt about it... I am from Los Angeles. The year humanity first landed on the moon... 1969, my parents were both employed, were union activists and students in LA. They had met in school, fell in love, married, a year later H Rios was born. This is a building I have visited, frequented, even received awards throughout life from the L.A. Mayor, Cultural Affairs Dept. & Chief Probation Officers with this building on them....and just recently, I found a batch of old photos of my parents in front of it!
