Hello Terry, Evelyn and Susan, thank you all very much you for joining this group!
Have a seat and a coffee and please share your thoughts.
I'm just a beginner in reading the bible, I hope we can learn from each other. :)
Peace and love, Anneke
Let's spread the wonderful words of the Lord who loves us all! :)

I am beginning to study the Bible more myself. I am also becoming more inspired to do religious art. I am currently helping design & make new banners for my church. Since I bought a printer this past year that can print large sized prints off sheets or rolls of various materials I decided to put it to work to help out my church. I am also forming a group at church that will help me assemble some cotton fabric fine art prints of my fastasy cross designs to make some fine art quilts. The first quilt we will raffle off locally as a fund raiser for the church. I will enjoy our quilting bees and learn to quilt as well. Later, I hope to sell quilts & wall hangings so that a good percentage can be donated to our church funds. I go to a small country church that does much for the local community. I had prayed to find ways to help the church out and I got the ideas suddenly to use my art in fund raisers. It's great to be able to do this and I hope that it goes as well as we think it will.
Since I started to read what God expects from us, I see how often I have missed chances to help, because I was thinking of myself first. We must love everyone as much as Jesus loves us and all our actions must be done to honour the Lord.
I found out there's a great reward in this, it's happiness.
Welcome also to Mariaan! Great to see you here! Thank you for joining! :)
I recently found & moved to a dream home with some acres that I plan to work more on my art, build up an inspiring garden. A garden is a place I often find brings me close to God as i admire all of it's wonders. I enjoy studying my bible there, finding new subjects to paint or photograph. I am planning a prayer garden & walk in it. In another area, I am planning to grow a small fruit orchard. I love organic fruits, due to all my allergies. Still, I won't need all of it so plan to have my scout groups come help harvest it to give to the food banks the local churches support. With food pries up, I know this will be needed. Next year I will add the vegetable garden in. It will give me time to get some raised beds constructed and prepared.
So, "First Fruits" will be harvested for the Lord's work.
Wishing everybody a wonderful weekend!
May God bless you, Anneke
